Zumper's Canadian National Rent Report recently revealed that Calgary is the ninth most expensive rental market in the nation. This is due to high migration to Alberta, good job opportunities, return of students to full-time learning, and an increase in renting due to higher interest rates. As a result, the vacancy rate in Calgary has fallen from 5% to 2.7%, the lowest since 2014, which has had a significant impact on renters.
